Daniel Krier, professor of sociology, spoke at the Historical Materialism Annual Conference in London on Nov. 9. Krier’s presentation was titled, “Critical Social Theory, Capital and the Fetishized Veil of Ignorance.” The talk outlined recent mobilization fo ethno-nationalist authoritarian movements that will challenge liberal responses to the next global economic crisis.
