Jimmy Kruse takes an interdisciplinary approach to forensics

The Spring 2018 issue of Link magazine featured James (Jimmy) Kruse (’18 criminal justice and biology), detailing his experience blending criminal justice and biology to prepare for his future career in forensics. Kruse has done work with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and Iowa State University’s Center for Statistics and Applications in Forensic Evidence (CSAFE).

For his next step, Kruse will continue his education at Iowa State as a graduate student in interdisciplinary graduate studies while continuing to research the development of quantitative comparison models for shoeprints.
