Gabrielle Roesch-McNally accepts a position as a Postdoctoral Fellowship with the USDA PNW Climate Hub

Congratulations to Gabrielle Roesch-McNally for successfully defending her PhD dissertation! She also accepted a position as a Postdoctoral Fellowship with the USDA PNW Climate Hub based in Corvallis Oregon.

“The mission of the Climate Hubs is to develop and deliver science-based, region-specific information and technologies, with USDA agencies and partners, to agricultural and natural resource managers that enable climate-informed decision-making, and to provide access to assistance to implement those decisions.”

Gabrielle will be conducting research and doing outreach and extension activities with the PNW Hub. She will be assisting in the development of a more robust vulnerability assessment for the PNW region. Additionally, Gabrielle will be helping to develop a more cohesive and effective collaboration across agencies, scientists, and stakeholders on the topic of climate change adaptation on working lands.

Gabrielle is very excited to head back out west where the mountains and ocean meet! She will be joined by her husband Joseph McNally who is excited for the horticultural opportunities in the Willamette Valley and their dog Farley is looking forward to long runs on the beach. Gabrielle and Joe also look forward to connecting with former Iowa State colleagues who have recently resettled in Oregon, including Marta Maldonado and Andres Lopez.
